Medium density polyethylene (MDPE)

Medium density polyethylene has a density between 0.926 – 0.940 g / cm3. It has very good resistance to shock and it is also much less sensitive than HDPE, having a very good resistance to cracking and breakage. MDPE is being used routinely in the production of gas pipes and fittings, sacks, thermo-contractile foils, packaging foils and bags for transport.
